Dr. Pardha Pyla is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech. He is one of the pioneering researchers in the area of connecting software engineering and usability engineering life cycles. His research interests are in the broad area of human-computer interaction, with particular emphasis on interaction design, multi-platform user interfaces, personal information management, and sustainability through design. He has a bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nagarjuna University (India), masters degrees in both Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Virginia Tech, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
